The bad news: When I lay down in bed last night, the room did the spinny thing. When I got up this morning, it did the spinny thing.

The good news: I experienced no other bouts of vertigo in a fairly busy day which included walking a mile in hot weather, running up and down stairs, sitting, standing, producing PDFs from FrameMaker, and a half-hour Pilates workout that involved lying on my back on a mat for at least 10 minutes. (I rented the DVD Pilates for Wimps from Netflix. It's a great workout. I just ordered a copy from Meditation Generation.)

I'm not quite ready to declare myself all better, but I'm encouraged that the vertigo doesn't seem to be interfering with my daily activities.

The only thing particularly unusual that I noticed today was that I was very sleepy, even though I'd slept for nearly 10 hours the night before. That may be a side effect of the anti-vertigo medication, or it may just be from the stress of having to deal with being in the ER all day yesterday. (I haven't actually taken any of the medication since the pill they gave me while I was at the hospital. I'm kind of trying to figure out if I actually need it. Today's experience suggests that maybe I don't. Or maybe I should just take a dose an hour or so before I go to bed.)

Speaking of bed, I should probably finish up a few things, and then get to bed. Later.
