Work is keeping me plenty busy. We're coming up on a big project milestone, and I've got a lot of documenting to do. It's fun (mostly), and it's going well (mostly), but it sure is sucking up a lot of time and energy. I will be glad when we pass the milestone, and things go back to a slightly more normal pace for a while.

Yesterday morning I went in to the office to get a couple of extra hours work in. At 9 a.m. on a Saturday, I think I was the only person there. I got a great parking space. I bashed out the last significant section of new content that I think my manual needs, though, so it was productive. Daniel came up and joined me for lunch, and we spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around University Ave. in Palo Alto.

Today I slept late, and then reset a bunch of clocks, and did some reading. (I'm reading a rather fascinating and disturbing book that I came across at Borders. It's called Becoming Evil, and it's about the psychological factors that allow people to commit genocide. It's not an easy read, but it's quite illuminating as to how ordinary "good" people end up participating willingly in evil acts. Very thought-provoking. Somewhat traumatic.)

Tomorrow, I dive back into revising the great big huge manual. Wheee!
