*For those who haven't be following the SFWA/Howard Hendrix kerfuffle, and so don't know what a pixel-stained technopeasant is, there's some back story here. I have to say, I've enjoyed a couple of Hendrix's books, and spent 5 minutes or so chatting with him at a con, during which he did not seem to be a raging idiot or an asshat. I'm favoring the hypothesis that aliens have eaten his brain. Asshat aliens.
