A summery of Your Favorite Annoying T...

Hello, I am YFAT or Lo. I have been writing/around on Journal Scape for over a decade now. Time flies! This journal chronicles my random thoughts, high moments and sometimes low, throughout high school, college, and now beyond, into the world of "adulthood", whatever that means.

Sinerely, ~Lo

I said it

Just putting this out there:
This is the only evening Matt and I have been able to spend together since last Friday and for the next week or so. So we were just saying goodbye for the night, standing with our arms wrapped around each other, both were singing the senior song of "Drunk last night, drunk the night before, we're gonna get drunk again..." and I looked up at him and felt so comfortable and...
I told Matt I love him.
And he said it back.
And then he smiled like a fool- the biggest most genuinely crazy happy smile ever, proceeded to give me a loooooong kiss and then gave me three huge bear hugs, including one that cracked most of the vertebrae in my back and had me just wrap my arms and legs around him and let him hold me in the air for a few minutes.

I am trying to feel mentally sober enough to do work but that was just...yeah. It was great, particularly his reaction.
It was also nice just to relax together in my room for a while and not have to worry about anything, him his two thesises and me my research projects, papers, and presentations. Our time was very... beautiful, mixed up with the typical quirkiness and randomly silly that is us (always need a rendition of Dick in a Box or as we changed it to "It's My Hip in a Crotch!", the far more painful version of the song). It was intimate without the need for sex. It was...just us.

Ooooh and this week marks approximately two-months together. Not that I've been keeping track or anything....
:-D

So I'm off to get food and do papers now.
Goodnight and peace!
~Lo
