Well, now that I have beaten the kidney infection, I have a sinus infection. . .

Which brought me to the second decision of the day yesterday (the first being 3/50 starting April 1) -

Garlic therapy.

Each week, when I am on my newspaper delivery run, I visit Sue.

Besides being the postmaster-in-charge at Millstone Post Office, Sue is an organic herbalist. In addition to mail, Sue dishes out farm fresh eggs and holistic healing tips from behind the USPS counter.

Two years ago, when I got pleurisy during Christmas season, Sue healed me. I'm not kidding. I spent $372 at the traditional doctor for a visit and an x-ray, and they gave me a prescription for Tylenol.

I couldn't breathe. I was in pain. Miserable, I tell you. Tylenol was no help. And then I ran into Sue. With $14 of her tinctures, I was feeling much better within 36 hours.

Sue is a big fan of garlic therapy.

Basically, you take a clove of garlic, slice it into thin pieces, let them air a few minutes (the air is a catalyst) then you take the slices like a pill, swallowing them whole.

Sue says garlic is a cure-all.

So in attempt to bring my ragged body back to health sometime during this vacation, I began to implement "Sue Suggestions."

This morning, after eating two cloves of garlic a slice at a time, I added two droppersfull of Pulmonaria tincture to my coffee, with a dropful of Horehound tincture. Then, I took my Basic Nutrients IV vitamin (with copper and iron) and followed that by letting a "Hep. Sulf. Calc." (Sue's labels are small) tablet dissolve under my tongue.

Here's to healthy living. . .

Ahhh chooo!
