Loki is not evil, he never has been, he's the youngest in his family, living in Thor's shadow, and then he finds out that he was adopted... and when he was young he was always shoved outside, mistreated, and just because he looks different. he didn't have any friends, he didn't have anyone/anywhere to turn to for peace. all he wanted was to be accepted and loved, he couldn't get that from his adopted parents since they were too busy shunning him and showering all their affection on Thor.

Loki is the god of mischief and trickery, he took to studying magic so he would be able to surpass Thor with his magic since he couldn't surpass him with strength (F.Y.I., Loki is stronger than any mortal). when you look inside of Loki, one of the things you will see is someone who is lost, and who desperately wants to be found.

He's misunderstood, lost, and in need of someone to care for him like his parents cared for Thor. He's not a jerk, though he has dark moments. I love him because of who he is. :D
