LB has the same aversion that I have to water running down his face. Getting it splashed in his face, no problem, washing face, no problem, but having it sprayed onto his face or flowing down from his hair over his face, problem.

(I have the same issue, don't know why, but I don't see how I could possibly have transferred it to him)

For months, I've been trying to get him to tip his head back when I rinse his hair so that the water flows down his back instead of down his face.

Tonight, he asked for daddy to come in as I was trying to convince him to trust me and do what I asked. After some more wrangling, we were able to get him to look up at his rubber duck (held up high by daddy) and I rinsed his hair. When the water hit his head and he felt it going down his back, the smile that spread over his face was priceless. He immediately understood that what I had been trying to show him/tell him was this and that it really was true. He let me finish rinsing his hair with no more complaints. He was thrilled that it worked so well, and so was I. I'm sure it'll stick with him now, should make bath time hair washing and rinsing MUCH easier.
