Sorry for such a long delay, it's been one heck of a month.

So here are few tidbits from the month, most more recent than not.

He got a haircut a week ago, just for the record. He even tolerated the small clippers around his ears and on his neck.

His dad got him a subscription to a Disney Magazine and he's been enjoying it lately. His nighttime books are the magazines, we read the short stories and do some of the activities, he's a whiz at the really easy mazes.

Earlier this week his teacher told me (after they'd had a treat of hard boiled eggs-it's E week at school, next week is F week), "I love to watch him eat." Um, okay, thanks, I think.

We were at a wedding last weekend and Phil went up to make a toast, LB was with him so after his toast he asked LB if he had anything to say, "Yes, the ABC's." Then he proceeded to sing them, even continuing to do so after uncle Andy (who was getting married) grabbed him and turned him upside down. *I* was terribly embarassed, many others told me how cute he was. A bit of prep on Phil's part might have been in order, but too late now, huh?

Today, LB wanted to ride his tricycle so I told him that I was going to close the gate and then he could ride. I told him that if he crashed into the gate (which he'd previously done) that would be it, he'd be done riding the tricycle. His response, "The first time?" Yes, little smarty pants, the FIRST time. I guess he was just checking. He then proceeded to barrel down the driveway and very carefully slow down before he ran into the gate.

And he's adopted the tortise's slow and steady wins the race. We measure his height monthly, the past few months, he's grown about half an inch each month. I guess the growth spurts just weren't getting it done, so now he's going after it a bit each month. I dont' know if this is usual or not, but it's working for him just fine. And on that note, he's finally outgrowing some of his 2T clothing. The arms and legs are too short for him.

I think that's it for now.
