I'm always hesitant about starting new journals, whether of the leather-bound or on-line variety... actually this is the first on-line attempt, but I find myself experiencing the same hesitation. Ah, that clean, virgin journal, untrampled snow, and here comes Nancy like a big clumsy cow...

Oh well. Damage done.

I've entered this foreign country (no, not Canada) filled with new languages and wild cultures. The land of wedding preparations.

I'm freakin' getting married!!!!

It just became all the more real as we've just finished the invites. I looked for the Lonely Planet Guide to this strange realm, but had to settle for a For Dummies instead. I'm still not fluent in Nuptual, but if I use a lot of gestures and wave money around, the natives are quite helpful.

Can you believe it? We got engaged during an Edenic summer. (Very Edenic, minus the white-bearded jealous guy.) Yes, Wreck Beach fostered an exquisitely happy couple. Ah, bliss...

I'm almost out of time on this public computer, so I'll sign out for now, Eden later.

A big hug and squeeze to anyone reading this (even if it's only me, that future me could always use an extra one).
