Spent the afternoon cavorting in a river at the Seymour Demonstration Forest. I've never been clear on the "demonstration" part of the name. This is a tree... ooh ahhh.... This is another tree... oooh.

It was one of those rare spectacularly sunny days--the kind you take for granted living in South Cal, but the kind you beg every solar deity for after living a single rain-drenched winter in Vancouver. Marcel (fiance, soulmate, fellow-cavorter) and a couple of friends, Michelle and Billy, went au naturale in a semi-secluded stretch of the river. We went tubing, only without the tubes (poor chafed tushies). We silently intimidated a couple of guys out of the best swimming hole (I guess hippies are pretty scary).

Found the coolest velvet-goth boutique for the boots and bodice part of the DRESS. Yes, I'm stooping to tradition and actually donning a dress for this occasion; heck, if I can do it for LRPGs I guess I can swing it for the upcoming sacrament.

Aquarium-reception fell through. Maybe we'll have it at Wreck--bring your sunscreen, folks (heh heh heh).
