Well, in Puxatony they may have seen the goundhog's shadow, but if there were any such rodents grubbing around Vancouver, they were gazing at their reflections in the puddles. Guess that means I'll be able to dust off the blades earlier than last year.

Sent "Fragmented"--after lopping off seven pages--off to the publisher. Currently working on another SF piece (the one I cannabalized a neighborhood meeting for) that's almost done. I'm on a waxing-moon wild-creation mode, so I've set the deadline for the full moon, after which I'll pull out the editing shears and trim with the tides.

I'm really enjoying the SFF Writer's Workshop--I found it tracing a link from your journal, Rachel. It's inspiring as well as helpful--a huge pool of workout partners 24/7!

As Marcel is learning French, I am getting a refresher course. That atrophied part of the brain begins to stir spitting out words I forgot I ever knew.
