If they are any indication, greed and fear are the ruling forces of the populace. Racism is alive and well. Debate is all about name-calling and polemicizing. Logic has no place whatsoever.

By the same token, I see where the polls get their seemingly unfathomable numbers from when they report 50% respondents think Saddam was linked to 9/11. Sad. Very sad.

I suppose the saving grace is that a lot of the most vocal are lonely little people who are just trying to get a response from anybody. It just seems that a lot of them buy into their own press.
