Jack called my cell phone last night to find out where I was.

"I'm in my favorite place in the whole wide world," I replied.
"Our house?"
"Good god, no! The house has to be cleaned! No, I'm at the bookstore."

Ah, the bookstore. Books AND a place that someone else cleans.

My house is presently in one of those states where it is so messy and cluttered that if someone in the household were dying I would have to straighten up before calling 911.

Jack and I watched Calendar Girls last night. What a delightful movie! Thoroughly enjoyable.

We also watched Cellular the night before. Your basic "idiot" plot that functions because people act like idiots. But of course it turns out that it is a good thing that the main characters act like idiots since some of the good guys are bad guys! [insert eye roll]
