We had this camera lying around forever, so the pictures on it span several months. These next three are from the day we took Anna to "Art in the Park." (I think it was right around the time she turned one.) Yes, we spray-painted her hair pink. It was just too damn cute.

In other news, my sister and I are still busting our asses on costumes for Beauty and the Beast. Gah. I will be SO glad when this shit is over. We also managed to talk my best friend, Kat, into making stuff. It started out that she was just going to help make the wolf costumes. It's her own damn fault that she's making the cutlery and the Beast mask as well now. I mean, after seeing how incredibly fantastic the wolf heads turned out, surely she didn't expect US to make the beast mask? The Horror!

Oh, and we also survived Tropical Storm Cindy with minimal effect. There were some power outages and we had no cable or internet when we woke up this morning (akk!), and worse, there was no internet at work either for several hours (double akk!), but overall the impact on us was minimal. It was some pretty heavy wind though--kept us awake most of the night.

Now we're keeping out eyes on Dennis, which will surely prove to be much more devastating that little Cindy.
