Waiting For Snow

Sounds like we're suppose to get snow on the valley floor today and currently I see some white stuff coming down. It's not ready to stick yet, though. Can't see Spencer Butte outside my window.

It rarely snowed in Eugene when I first moved here back in '93, but in the last few year's we've been getting snow more often. It never lasts long, but still . . .

Well, the whiteness is pleasant to look at. While I don't miss the cold of Minnesota winters, snow is something I'll take once in awhile just for nostalgia.

I couldn't fall asleep last night until after two in the morning. That gave me a late start today and I still haven't gotten any writing done. I better get to it. This week has been better than last week in that I get writing done before noon. Today, apparently, is an off day. It's already afternoon and I haven't written yet.

I hope Ximena's drive home from work isn't fraught with snow and idiot-drivers.

Off to write . . .
