Why does it seem that every minority seems that they have to have their own "thing" especially when it comes to cars? They want to start their own trend regardless of whether or not it really looks "cool" or makes any sense at all. Before you start into me being an old foggy- I had hot rods in high school (76-80)...1976-1980...not the late 1800s. I had my share of really cool cars that still made sense. Well, sort of. They had air shocks and chrome engine parts and headers and yes GLASS PACKS...hood scoops, spoilers, slicks, all the crap. But I crap up when I think of the "lowrider" craze. The paint jobs were amazing...the interiors were better than most homes...I loved that crushed velvet! But, the hydraulics...they were ok at a show...but when you dropped the back and looked straight at the sky and tried to drive on the street...(shut up people who knew me) I KNOW, I did the same...but that was while doing a wheel stand and only for a split second. What about the obstruction of vision? (Shut up again) I KNOW I had huge hood scoops and tunnel rams...and...ok...bad point. What the hell is going on now with the nice classic cars with those ridiculous 20 and 22 and 24 and 48 inch wheels? First of all- it looks comical. Next, it ruins your suspension. The car rides like shit. The wheels are often worth ten times what the car is worth. Your car looks like I can push it over. Hey...let's start "car tipping", like "cow tipping"...hummm. What about those "rice rockets". Basically, most are bone stock Hondas with loud mufflers and a loud stereo and a really bad driver. I am so tired of seeing those tire marks from doughnuts....ohhhhhhh...really hard to do. Let's see a posi-traction burnout with 14x32 inch slicks going 1640 feet...oh yeah, that was my ticket...never mind. And don't they put those "running lights" under the car? Sometimes they put DeLorean style doors...or was in Lamborghini doors? Leave those doors on the $100,000 cars where they belong. Stop being a follower. Stop being like everyone else. When everyone had Chevys and Fords...I had Mopars.Be different. Remember when everyone had a "slammed" mini truck? OOOPS...I had to build one for my ex-wife. I am going to leave with this one question. Is there ANYONE that thinks "sagging" really looks cool? If I start a trend where you wear your underwear outside your pants...will others follow? How about pants on your head and shirts on your butt? WHY DOES EVERYONE TRY TO SET A TREND TO BE DIFFERENT WHEN THEY ARE ONLY BEING LEMMINGS AND FOLLOWING EACH OTHER?
