I am so tired of this debate about how overtime should be handled. Think about it...in baseball, what if the first batter in the top of the inning hit a hmerun....is the game over? In the NBA, what if the first person that touched the ball, drove the length of the court and dunked...is it over? Come on- play one full damn overtime quarter in the NFL. What, are these "professional athletes" too out of shape to play a whole quarter? They have a whole week to recover. I have an idea...use some of those other 50 players sitting on the sideline that practice with you every week. Better yet, substitute during the game, get some players some rest, but play the whole damn game. They say "if it's not broke, don't fix it"...well, it is broke, so fix it. We watch four quarters of hard fought football and then the game is decided by a coin toss. What happens when a Super Bowl goes to overtime and it ends on the kickoff in overtime? Then, it will be too late to fix it...
