If the Warriors really only had 5 people who could play tonight- then why not just suit up those five. Then, when Devon George fouled out, he could have stayed in the game simply by giving up a penalty free throw. If Hunter and Morrow really could not play...then why use them for a few seconds early. If they were available early in the game- they should have been avaiulable late in the game when George picked up his 6th personal foul...right? If I were Nelson- I would have only suited up the 5 players- and taken the penalty free throws and let one of them break the record for personal fouls in a game (8) and at least had a few laughs...but then again...I am not Don Nelson...
