OK- I really thought that the Mavs were better than they showed. I thought Butler gave them a toughness. I also thought the Jazz were going down fast without a center and their best defender hurt (Kirilenko). I thought the Trail Blazers would shrivel up and fall quickly (even though I picked them as one of the best teams in the West in the Pre-season. The West is a mess. So...let's go back a few years and just pick the Lakers and the Spurs. Should we go further back and pick the Lakers and the Jazz? My brain hurts. Even though the West is a mess...the team I am the most annoyed with is the Hawks. I thought the Hawks would walk over the Bucks in 4- especially without Boget. How the HELL do you win with Thomas at center? Isn't Thomas one of the players that is traded a dozen times each season for salary cap reasons? Magic and Cavs will battle to face the Lakers...unless the Suns get hot...or they lose to the Blazers...ouch...my brain hurts. I want the friggin season to end- so I can predict the draft (WRONG AGAIN) and get one with things. I am not very good at this anymore- am I? Let's see...what did I pick in the pre-season...? Anyone care to look back? I guess I am not so stupid after all...huh?
