Watching game four, tonight, between the Suns and the Spurs...I just kept thinking...if Paul Pierce would have been hit with a Duncan elbow, like Nash was...it would have taken an ambulance to get him off the court. Nash reminds me of the Nick Nolte character in "North Dallas Forty" where you just take your abuse and keep on playing. As a side note...that line in the movie is an alltime classic when the coach says "...but Phil, you're just not a team player". Anyone remember Phil's response? ANyways- back to the game- Nash just played on, with a vengeance, and eliminated the Spurs. I love the long distance three pointer after the injury. How the hell can you hit that with just one eye open? I would have launched it into the next county. Well...now I am chearing for the Spurs to eliminate the Lakers and eventually get a title. First of all, I want Nash to get a ring. Second, I want to see what Stoudamire will do if they get a title. Will he bolt for a few more dollars? Will he stay in Phoenix? I also respect Nash for having the fewest tattoos of anyone in the finals...
