If prop 19 passes in California, then the people of the state of California have said that they want to legalize recreational marijuana within the state of California. The Federal government has said that they will still enforve the federal laws regarding controlled substances. Do you agree with that stance? If you do agree with that stance- then you MUST oppose the new Arizona anti immigration laws. If the state of California does not have the right to have their own state laws, that conflict with the laws of the United State then neither does Arizona. I am constantly hearing from people in Arizona stating that they feel that their new laws are correct and that they have the right to "protect their borders" but these are the very same people that say that California has no right to legalize marijuana. You can't have it both ways!!!
