If the Texas Rangers win the World Series- I will be so happy for them. You have to love Nolan Ryan- first and foremost, as an owner. I respect him as a player and I love what he is doing with the team. I like that he is making the pitchers go longer and longer in their starts. Maybe we can see a four man rotation filled with complete games- just like when he pitched. My favorite thing so far was seeing Ryan throw out the first pitch and being clocked at 87 mph. How many pitchers in the bigs can do that without warming up and how many will ever hit 87 at the age of 60? I love Ryan and I love his manager and their team. Just hate to see them defeat the Giants...but I can live with it...
