With the deadline approaching- I think I will just add to the mix. Here goes. I have a friend, living next door to me that is a Sacramento Kings fan...so for him...let's see...you want to rid the Kings of Donte Greene and Carl Landry is attractive to other teams and is not being used enough. Let's send those two to the New York Knicks for Eddie Curry (expiring 10 million contract). The Knicks leave Amare at center, play Landry up front with Gallanari, move Chandler to the off-guard...bring Fields and Greene off the bench...and they even better. The Kings Play use the cap space- with the rest of the cap space that they have- and sign Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul. The Kings start Paul, Evans, Anthony, Cousins, and Dalembert and make the play-offs. They use the extra revenue from fan interest and build a new arena. Merry Christmas, Chris!!!Hey- I called Minnesota, and I am shipping a future draft pick for OJ Mayo. Now you have Mayo, Casspi,Thompson, and friends on the bench. Do you love me, or what? Melo told me that he is "all in" on the deal. Just don't let the Knicks know what the real plan is...we need that extra cap space...sssshhhh. Onward. For my friend, Rambler, in Chicago...hummm...you are probably mad because you wanted Anthony. Let's see what I can do. We want to keep Noah, Boozer, Deng, and Rose, if we can. We need a shooting guard really. Sorry- I want to keep Monte Ellis...let's look elsewhere. How about Iguadala from the Sixers? he can move to the 2...and they have Evan Turner waiting to take over. I could have gotten you OJ Mayo- but Chris wanted him in SacTown. You can have a lot of folks with overpriced salaries...like Billups- I can get you him for a deep-dish pizza. Here- you go- you can have Rip Hamilton for the rest of the season for night out on Rush Street. Oh, you don't want Rip. Seriously- let's see...Iguadala is a good fit with the Bulls and all it will cost you is a draft pick- which will be a high one, since your team is sooooooooooooo good, and we need to get the salaries close...how about Tyrus Thomas? Oh yeah- you already got rid of him...seriously..Iguadala makes too much...you would need to move Korver, Brewer, Watson, Johnson...just to get close...and Philly doesn't want them.that won't work. This will be hard because you don't have much to trade...humm. Boozer gets 15 mil, Deng gets almost 12 mil; Rose gets 5.5; Noah only gets 3...but the rest of the team is overpaid, except Gibson at only 1.5? Humm. How do we make a move? Scalabriene and Thomas are a combined 2.5 of expiring...let's see...got it- the Suns will send you Grant Hill as a rental for the season to play the 3...ok? Sorry...it is hard to work with your salaries. Now, for my Warriors. I just want to get rid of Gadzurick and Charlie Bell and Brandon Wright...that is $15 million of unwanted salary. I would like to mobe Biedrin's 9 million also. Let's see...$24 million. I can take Billups and Martin from the Nuggets and make them happy. I get $16 mil of the books from Martin. But I need to include another $5 mil to make it work...so make it Gadzurik, Biedrins, Wright and Bell for Martin and Billups. The Nuggets dump salary- I dump lousy players- and we all are happy. I am the best.
