A Thought Cartoon

[Sometimes I think in cartoons. I dream them up and tell people about them, but they never seem to get drawn up into an actual picture cartoon, so you'll have to use your imagination.]

The thought picture I want you to envision is that of Pope Benedict XVI, Pontifex Maximus, Vicar of Christ, apologizing for his recent remarks, which caused anguish among some Muslims.

"It's not like I speak for God, or anything.", delivered with a shrug, and a puzzled expression.

(So much for Papal Infallibility.)
