There may be a light at the end of the tunnel

Mood:
still worried

Let's hope that light is not an oncoming train.

There was a meeting today with an update. Apparently, things may be looking up for our group, but it was made clear that there are no certainties. Los Angeles now has someone who is now more involved in some of the decision making with my group and my company, and whether they continue to function together. It's nice to have someone on our side who has done much to keep us dodging previous cuts, etc. Still waiting though. Still watching people tidy up their desks, bringing stuff home, taking about applying elsewhere and updating resumes.

I still need to work on mine, regardless of current employment status. I still had the address two addresses ago until Sunday. And I've noticed that most online "free resume tips" are really "here are a few really simple tips, but the good stuff comes with my book or pay resume consultant service". I think I'll work on my own, and if I have to use it, and find I'm having no luck, look into an investment at that time.

At least they're paying attention to us, but apparently they're paying REALLY close attention to us. This can still go either way.
