SO I figured that it's about time to just put in a journal entry. Nothing as profound as I had hoped, just a casual little entry while I eat lunch at my desk, taking my first attempt at a "McVeggie" burger, I have a back up Big Mac in case me and the Veggie don't work out...

Ah, Big Mac, I knew you wouldn't let me down.

So, unless you like something that tastes like soy product and pepper, don't bother with the Mc Veggie.

With that being said, it's been a pretty busy month for me. I have been able to squeeze in some fun things. The weekend brought "Dumb and Dumberer" at the box office which I enjoyed, and last week's rentals brought "The Secretary" which was almost interesting, but was too cliche to really remain as such. The acting was good, but they could have written the situation differently. I also saw "Happiness of the Katakuris" which was very bizzare, very funny. I cannot describe it very well, but it's at Blockbuster.

I was at the old office on Friday, then I had to go to the old office to let the liquidators in. I've had to deal with the most inconsiderate people for this thing. Total flakes, no concern for the factr that I'm over an hour away from that office by bus or that I have other responsibilities and things to do. I was late to the dentist, but fianlly got my permanent crown. Yesterday was werewolf LARP, and that was okay. I appreciated that they ended the game at 10, becuse sometimes it just gets outta hand and goes too late.

Finally decided to just get a cable modem with our current cable provider. Should have made the decision sooner because it was a total breeze. They had a deal for current cable customers, and the install fee was 15 dollars if they just came in to check the cable line, and 55 if they stuck around to completion of making sure that it works and that you're online. We chose option 1, as I was fully certain I would be capable enough to follow any instructions and complete the rest. Expecting to see a cable modem in a box under my desk, I was happy to see that the 15 dollar install even included them connecting it to the network card. So the 40 dollar difference consisted solely of going through the install wizard of the install CD. Yay!

I've got my plot almost together for the game I am running this coming Saturday, but am still iffy as per location. I may work on the plot a bot because it is the same one I planned for last month but cancelled my game due to work/dentist issues.

It's Monday and yet another Karaoke Day at Liquid Kitty. This is a very different place and not to be confused with the dance club I went to Friday, which was "Miss Kitty's" at the Dragonfly(?)(is that right Coyote?). Coyote decided that he was going to go and I don't go to dance clubs often, this one was fun, pretty interesting, very goth/punk/industrial and somewhat fetish. The drinks were good. The dancing was cool, although the dancefloors were small. The go-go dancers were interesting, and there was a corner of the club that had a flogging stage and a lineup of about 5 "slaves"... Despite the BDSM club images that my description has probably produced, everything that I saw was pretty tame, but we left shortly after midnight because of other responsibilities that I had the next morning. Who knows how wild it got? Anywho... back to work!
