Two developments announced today. One interesting and amusing. The other... well... not so much.

William Hung, American Idol reject who has had more air time than probably anyone auditioning from that show has a record deal, an album coming out in less than a month, and a music video!

I'm tickled pink about this. You go William Hung! Who knows what else will come out of this, and what other trends will develop from the random fame that is Hung!

I think this is hilarious. Now, when I say hilarious, I mean that in the "big middle finger to the recording industry and their cookie cutter pop stars" form of the word. I think it's a really interesting development. Now, I haven't watched all of AI this time around, paid more attention to last season than anything else, but wow, I thought it was interesting when Clay got more press and attention and deals and wasn't even the winner.

Sure, there's a lot of talent that is not getting recognized because the underdogs are getting a lot of the attention but that's just how it works sometimes. There's a lot of actors who are upset about the fact that reality shows have taken off so well, because they don't require actors, but trends come and go. The entertainment industry is a roller coaster of events.

So, in other news, one of my staff members put in notice. I'm down to three people. I'm working with my boss and others to figure things out.

"Where do we go... from here?"

Misty leaves for Austrailia tonight, and will be dropping off her car this evening, with a bunch of stuff inside (clothes and whatnot) for me to go through.

One step closer to mobility. :)
