One thing I realized today, which has been bugging me for quite some time but I have not been able to quite place...
as opposed to Los Angeles, and especially my neighborhood, there's noone around with any obvious Hispanic/Latino origin. Very few Asian, but I think I can honestly say that I have not noticed any at all, and I've been in some big crowds.
It's just different and interesting.
And also, gas is 1.75 a gallon here.
