So it is 9am, and for the past hour or so I've been hungry, and trying to figure out what I really want to eat. I have hot cereal and cold cereal in my desk, and am sure I could go get somethin in the food court without anyone missing me too much over here.

But I don't really want something breakfasty. I don't want something sweet. Only now and I realizing what sounds really good right now. I want sushi, or prime rib. Something raw or rare. WTF is up with that?!

I decided to not do any running yesterday after all. Was still sore from the hike, and everything I have been reading puts a lot of importance on allowing recovery time after strenuous exercise, especially when one has not worked up to a regular routine. So, for the sake of not risking injury, I decided to just do some stretching and hold off on the additional run till tonight. It seems like it is going to be a slow start but I hope to work my way up to 10 to 12 miles per week within the first month.

I'm still going to give myself another week or two to really prepare myself mentally, scheduling workouts/runs in, organizing myself so I can accomplish my goals without neglecting other things, etc.
