So things are looking up. I'm really proud of myself for setting more specific goals as far as the getting into shape/running/marathon plans go. Currently, I'm shooting for 3 times a week running plus Sunday hikes. Everyone has been very supportive, and I have gotten a lot of information and tips from various people.

I am going to design some sort of html chart for my exercise/hiking/running. I'll need to re-learn how to do it as it has been a while since I've done web work, let alone stuff that is html and not wiki formatting. Until then, here's the summary:
Hiked on Sunday. 5 miles.
Rested Monday.
Did 3 miles on Tuesday. Some yoga afterwards.
Rested yesterday (watched more Desperate Housewives, did dishes)
Planning on 3 more miles when I get home.

Now I just need more specific goals, including deadlines, to accomplish everything else that has been vague enough to put off and procrastinate on. Websites, production company stuff, research, organizing, getting rid of clutter, etc.

Computer was raised from the dead yesterday. It appear that the power supply was the only thing that burnt out and it booted just fine after it was replaced. Thanks to Erik and Geek Squad for that. I'm still going to go for a better machine though, as my faith in the stability of this one has substantially decreased. I don't want to put any more money into this one. I am going to back up my stuff over the next few days, which is something I should be doing already, and something that I have drilled into other people to do. I just gotta remind myself that I don't wanna be that guy with the one copy of his thesis on a dead floppy back at USC.

On a side note, did I loan any of you my DVD of "Manos: The Hands of Fate" or might you know who I did loan it to? I was looking for it the other day and it seems to have vanished. I must have loaned it to someone a long time ago, as I have with some other DVDs that I'm missing, but can't remember who. And yes, it's MST3K, not just the movie.
