So I started off this month all updatey and motivated. I set my goals. I got all determined... Then my schedule made it so I missed some running, didn't keep up the momentum, and it's only been a few weeks, and I got all... blah.

And I know I said I was going to focus on goals that are not weight goals, but I've gained weight, and today I feel all fat and sluggish and just kinda dumpy. As of yesterday I'm up to 208. Sure, I've taken care of a lot of other stuff that I've been needing to take care of, but I almost feel like I've taken a step back instead of going forward. It's not that I'm going to stop running, it is just becoming clear that this is going to take more than just scheduling in running.

I bought stuff at Trader Joe's for lunches to start with. I think I've been overeating and overspending on my lunches. They're little asian soup bowls but not dried noodles. I'll let ya know if they're any good.

The hike for Hike the Geek on Sunday has not yet posted, but I WILL be hiking on Sunday.

This week has been an entertaining one as far as stuff I've seen on TV. Lost and 24 have continued to keep my interest. Been watching The Lone Gunmen and have really been enjoying it. I only caught a few of these during the brief time it was on the air. Aside from the creepy-factor of the first episode which was basically investigating a government plan to fly a plane into the World Trade Center and blame terrorists, it's been a really fun show. (That episode aired in March of 2001, and aird for Austrailia ony a couple of days before 9-11) The characters on the show are awesome, and its just one of those shows that should have totally been successful, but was cut too soon and didn't have a chance.

Haven't seen new movies for a while, but I do plan on catching a few soon.

Had to cancel another theater meeting. Scheduling issues. Have been feeling fairly down about not moving forward on hardly anything with that either. Hope we can meet soon.

Made a rather large purchase for my $4 baby turtles who have now turned into little monsters. 40 gallons large to be exact. I might be able to set up most if not all of it tonight. I hope they enjoy their new turtle mansion.
