Enjoy the ride.

Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. • Back from PA

We are back safe and sound from Pennsylvania. We had a wonderful time. Allex traveled beautifully - he was such a trooper. He just hung on to me, quietly watching, as we navigated the airport terminals and airplanes.

When we got to the PA airport, we found Trisha outside the security gates looking for us in anticipation. We all squealed with delight as we got our hugs. We went to their apartment in Sunbury and got settled in for the night.

The next day we toured the beautiful countryside and found fun food to eat like "Whoopie Pies" and Classic "Philly Cheesteak Sandwiches". Trisha made an excellent dinner for us that night and then we played cards.

On Saturday we shopped at huge Antique malls that were awesome. Because of the history there, there are so many treasures to be found and at good prices. They had things like beautiful hand carved furniture, beautiful jewelry like none you can find today, old tools that are outdated, old books, etc. I came home with 150 - 200 year old books; one on etiquette, one on English grammar and one on Benjamin Franklin.

That night we had two couples over for dinner that Phil and Trish hang out with regularly. (Trisha made an excellent dinner, again. She has really honed her talent of cooking.) Their friends were very nice and we had an enjoyable evening. I think we gave them the "baby bug" though...oops. After they left, we played more cards (yay). The next morning we went to church where Phil was the guest speaker. He did a wonderful job. After that, we went to lunch and then came home to visit and look through pictures before leaving early the next morning.

It was a successful trip! It was hard to say goodbye, but we did, with tears in our eyes. Until next time - hopefully sooner than later. I was encouraged by our travel system. It was really very organized and easy considering we traveled 3000 miles in a day. Technology is amazing.
