i just came back from jubilate III 2006!... it was some show. in more than one way.
various performing groups gave performances.
Chinese orchestra: erm. no comment. nice songs i think? some parts were a bit messy. but overall, ok.
Chinese Society: quite interesting. the whole idea and issues that were discussed were good. but the ending was too abrupt. there should have been some sort of resolution instead of just bringing everything to an end.
Dances: pri-cute! hahaha. sec- my every ounce of respect goes to the girl who dropped her briad. she had the composure to remain smiling and dancing despite her fake hair being flung to the floor and her real hair coming undone. so thumbs-up for that. overall, a good dance really. the only part i dun get is, who would choreograph such a dance? i mean its nice to watch. but its about hair. get it?
band: better than all the times i heard them play at training.
string: hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. well. good.
choir: pri- too soft. sec- great. really really like the choir.think they rock...

yep. it was good i guess...
went with nicky... he was so nice about the whole situation and that made the evening a better one for me at least...

and regarding trial:
- i didnt trip
-i didnt kick any hurdles
-i didnt stop half way
-timing was... erm. lots of room for improvement. (see i'm doing such a good job being positive. if i didnt even try, i'd just say that it sucked. oops. did that come out...)
