I'm going to miss being rested.

What I really want to do before next week:
1) Pompeii exhibition at the National Museum
2) Valentino exhibition

What I don't really have to do before next week but will anyway:
1) Read up on Indian history
2) Read up on Chinese history
3) Read up on Europe in the 20th century
(Youth is wasted on the young eh?)

What I really need to do:
1) Bid and get my 5th module

Yesterday was my first birthday celebration of the year. The shiny presents made me feel loved and made this turning old thing much easier to bear. But it also made it real? I don't know how to say it. Seems to emphasize that this isn't a normal birthday, not just another; even though I'm not really planning to do anything special and in fact will be studying through the day and evening (late lectures) on the day itself. I suppose it will be an opportunity to reflect on my life. Will hopefully post something meaningful then.

So anyway, we played the Game of Life. Well, they played. I bankered. It made me think about what a freaking longggg way I have to go actually. I mean, I'm still at College! That's like the first loop in the boardgame.

Maybe it's the last week of holidays. Been moody contemplative. Maybe it's the turning 21. Been... thinking about the past, the future and mostly, about the present.
