Things that are odd:

My Spanish teacher using the following sentences to illustrate reflective and non-reflective sentence structure:

*I wash myself.
*I wash my Brandi.

After he wrote these sentences on the board I could only say, "uh.....". He then quickly informed the class that he was not talking about washing ME but his pomeranian who was also named Brandi. He then talked about how it would be improper to talk about washing me in class.

It was no worse than when I had to go to the restroom and just when I thought I has made a quiet exit, my professor stopped me to ask why I was leaving. Then, I was forced to admit to my class that I just had to use the restroom.

That was fun.
