Christine's New Chapter

I'm at 296 in the novel, slowly creeping up on page 300. Just another hundred pages to go, and I'm done! Woo!

And on Thursday, Fall arrived just in time for Halloween. The temperature dropped and we had clouds - real, grey-blue tinged, moisture-filled clouds. Not the brown-yellow smoke clouds that have so hovered in our skies for the last week. Thursday we could breathe. And Thursday night and Friday, we had light rain showers - enough to cleanse the air. Last night, after the last trick or treater had left, we had more rain. And this morning, the air smells like the inside of a wet cheap Mexican cigar. We've already burned incense this morning. No outside deep breathing for us today.

But the air is chilly, and the nights cry out for a fire in the fireplace.

Today I'm off to a LARA committee meeting, then a booksigning, and then tonight the Potter's 17th Annual Halloween party. BBQ pork is in the oven, and all's right with the world.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
