Christine's New Chapter

Words Written... 2,500

Woo! Wrote 12 pages today, thereby finishing off chapter 15! Technically I've got 10,500 words to go to hit 90K - but I'm beginning to think this one might run a bit long. As long as it's not over 110K, I'm okay though, so I'm not going to worry about it.

But at 90K, that means only two more chapters. Forty two more pages. I can SO do that! And as I'm coming down to the tail end of the story, I think it's doable...there isn't that much left to shove into the ms. at this point. Ends seem to be tying up neatly with very little forethought, which is actually kinda scary.

And once the ms is done, then all I have to do is rewrite the synopsis and wait for the editor in England to say, "Yes, I'd love to see the whole thing." But you know what? If that doesn't happen, I know at least two more houses I can query for this story. So we'll just have to see.

I am so pleased. Life is so good. But the patio still needs to be painted, so off I go...

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
