Yesterday would have been Scott's 48th birthday. I had a glass of champagne (or was that two?) in his honor.

I wonder how time would have mellowed him. How he would have changed over the years. I like to think that it would have worn the bitterness out of him, so he'd have been long, lean, strong and loving. And of course armed with his wicked sense of humor.

My guess is he'd have shaved his head close, rather than suffer comparisons with my dad's balding pattern. He'd have bought a home in Hawaii, and we'd have been regular visitors.

Of course there would have been the bad parts of life, too. Though I'd rather he'd have had eleven more years to experience than be taken so soon.

How is it possible to still miss him, when I didn't even know him very well?

I think I'll go light some incense.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
