Christine's New Chapter

One of my critique partners just sold her first book. I'm happy for her, really, though I think I'd be happier if she hadn't dropped critiquing my stuff a couple months back. Ah, well.

She's been picked up by Wings ePress, and her book is slated to come out in 2006. She was definitely ready to sell, having lots of other books completed, and a good website. I still need the website part.

Wings ePress is a possibility for me to send the short contemp that Silhouette turned down. And yet, wouldn't it be nice to make my first sale to HQ/Sil? Ah well, ya gotta start somewhere, and a sale is better than a contest win.

The story she sold was the one I critted for her. I wonder if she made any of the changes I suggested, or if she just left it as it was? Because I had a hard time with it...but anyway. That's probably just envy talking.

Time to get back to work.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
