I learned something today: don't kick the furniture. It bites, as evidenced below. This is just above my ankle, and occurred at about 10:30 this morning.

I couldn't get the effect to come across in 2D very well, but it's awesomely, beautifully swollen. It hurts like a sonofabitch but it's worth it to see the phenomenon up close!

Other than giving myself a fantastic bruise in a fit of rage, I got new tires on my car yesterday - to the tune of over $400!! - and did the laundry, and that was about it. I went grocery shopping today and took care of a minor thing at work, and now I'm debating whether to attend kung fu class...discretion just may be the better part of valor this time. We'll see; I'm not sure I can stomach my idiocy preventing me from going to class. It's just too stupid. We'll see!
