Dark Horse The life and times of a meditative horse trainer. I'm a second generation born and raised Alaskan. I've very proud of that, my roots are here. While I want to see as much of the world as I can, I want to raise my children here. I'm a dedicated student of the horse, of life and I love to learn. I try to leave no stone unturned in my life. Nothing is good if taken at just face value there is always more, to people, an animal, a thought, a dream. I'm an intensity junky, I live my life with passion as if every action were my very last, and I love the colors that this passion has brought to me. It's my hope to share this small window of myself with my readers. If you surfed in please make yourself at home and stay a while, if your one of my loved one's who are here, I love you for all you have educated me in to make my life this amazing. |

2005-07-05 2:52 PM A mission of change It’s time.
To change the world. You agree? Good. Let’s do it. Zaadz Manifesto Having returned from vacation feeling rested and not quite sure as to whether or not I want to be here speaking of my desk… Now on the other side of vacation I am going over thoughts, ramblings and emotions that occurred while I was gone. True to my form, I attack everything I do with a vengeance, or passion I’ve been told per se. Indeed I have great passion, not just for one thing but all things. Life is not lived unless you live all moments with passion. Granted I’m a bona fide intensity junky to the tenth degree but that’s part of what I do, I’m a catalyst for movement. I move I shake and I flow. I had to learn the flow part in the hardest way possible, however I hope that the rest of you are not forced to learn flow in the manner that I did. Upon returning home from vacation you realize after that disconnection the things you missed (in my case food that isn’t fried in all forms), the things you didn’t (lack of creepy crawly bitey critters). I also remember why I live in this enlightened state of Alaska. Enlightenment is alive and well, as is passion. Perhaps in some way those that live here in the last frontier live here because we are pioneering spirits, the rest of the folk live here because they were born here or their spouses work here. If you don’t like it leave, go back home. This is a state of Seekers, more so than any other state perhaps. You see a seeker is someone who seeks passion in life, and enlightenment in all forms. The seeker is a student and is not making a commitment to a "faith". We have the leeway to take teachings from a particular source and when we think we have learned what we feel is enough, we are able to integrate what they have learned with other teachings. After saying "Thank you for bringing me this far", the seeker again searches for new teachings. It's that simple. People are like computers; the programming that will work for one brand won't work for another. In this instance the seeker is writing his own program from scratch, not just down loading someone else's programming into his mind. In a way a seeker makes a commitment to their soul to reach a higher plane no matter what the educational burden. I’ve preached this plane before and I will preach it again time and time again. Yes I realize it isn’t my job to change the world, I do have a great respect for the freedom of others to make a choice, a mistake, a decision, a wrong turn, a right turn. I have limited respect for those who do nothing. You are gifted a life to live, live it. You have a choice, make one. You have the entire world at your fingertips begging for you to sink in and live, do it. You are connected even though you may of forgotten. You don’t have to necessarily change anything, change like tossing a pebble into a pond is a small act. It’s the ripples that spread forth that really get things moving and shaking. Join life, that’s why you’re here. Look up from time to time, at the road, the trees, the heavens or just to the one’s you love to show gratitude. But remember there’s an entire world out there you don’t understand, and you may not learn it all in one fail swoop, you can sure as hell try. Much love and seeking, Teresa Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
