So, husband is home again, but he's actually awake and watching TV. All things considered (mood in particular--a not working husband is a cranky husband), I'm not going to intrude on his TV watching, so will be skipping the 10 minutes I'd manage with the Tai-Chi. ;)

This is okay. The goal this week is 3 days or more. I still have plenty of days to get my other 2 or more days in. And I'll do my little chair exercises while working today. I can see, however, how something might need to be worked out if the work slump continues. But, for today, it just means getting to work a little earlier. Considering how late a start I got yesterday, this is fine.

I'm also have to talk to him about portion control, which is tied to his own eating habits, actually. He doesn't eat breakfast and very little lunch, so he piles the food on for dinner...for everybody. We DO eat less at dinner than we did even 6 months ago, but the portions are still pretty big, especially for someone who DOES eat breakfast and lunch. And, yes, I've tried to get him to do both, but I might as well be talking to a brick wall. He "doesn't have time"...apparently even when he's home all day.

I did have a few other food issues yesterday, but I figure reducing the intake is going to take a little time because I'm used to eating more AND because I'm starting to exercise so the body is going to try to demand more fuel. I'm not going to kick myself for any extra food--that always seems counterproductive.

I'm also surprised at how non-sore I am today. There's a bit of an ache and some stiffness, but it could be that cold morning/older person thing going on. So maybe I'm not as bad off as I thought despite some of the difficulty I had yesterday.

Accomplishments
I may have eaten more than I should snack wise, but at least they weren't sugary snacks.

Lunch Yesterday
Cream of Chicken soup with Herbs
Fruit Cup
Sweet Tea

Dinner Yesterday
Sautéd Pork Chop
Rice
Green Beans -- hub steams his vegies and they are sooooo good!

Breakfast
Bowl of Special*K
Hot Chocolate

And, no, I'm not sharing my snacks. Just trust that this is where I tend to fail.
