Tight, Tight, Tight

Did I mention tight? ;)

One of the reasons I picked the stretch program to stick with for awhile was my ability to do most of it. Really the biggest problem for me is getting winded, even with stretch. But, for the rest, well, I seem to be pretty flexible for a big, old, fat woman. And I think I'm already getting some benefits even though it's only been one week. I noticed the other night that I could stand at the sink longer and get more into the dishwasher at one time without pain. I'm hoping this is really the case and not me imagining things or it being a good day or something.

However, I've also discovered that while 1 day between exercise days work, 2 days isn't such a great idea. Usually I can get to the point where I feel the stretch; today that point was a lot sooner and I REALLY FELT the stretch. We're talking oh. my. god. muscle stretching.

I might have to think about trying to get Saturday in on this exercise thing.

Accomplishments
2 Sessions of stretch exercise.

I also managed to modify 2 of the 4 exercises I couldn't do as is.

Lunch Yesterday
Saxy's Tuna Salad Sandwich
Orange Soda (I am so not a cola girl)

Dinner Yesterday
Saxy Cheeseburger
Chips
Corn on the Cob
Tea

Breakfast
Chex
Milk

I know where my biggest trouble with the exercise is: my tummy and my butt. I think I've found a DVD I'd like to pick up to help with it: Hit the Spot - Pilates. Problem is it'll be long while before I can pick up any of the exercise stuff I'd like to get. If anyone would like to help out with that, feel free--consider it a Christmas gift. If you're worried someone else will get it for me before you do, maybe send an e-gift certificate instead: Denyse Loeb, email (remove the NOSPAM). There's a few other things I'd like to pick up as well--some adjustable weights for the wrists and ankles, a belly dance DVD set, a chair that I'm not afraid will break....

Okay, enough of that. I'm gonna go now. I actually hate asking for stuff--it's embarrassing for me. But I figured I could make an exception in this case. We're trying to help me get healthy, right?

Okay, big day ahead! Lots of work piled! ;)
