Here is a special announcement from the "Silly Thinking" web groupzinepage vice president in charge of content Lawrence B. Silly.

Good afternoon.

I am Lawrence Silly, Vice President of the "Silly Thinking" webgroupzinepage. Over the weekend news was leaked about the fate of one of our regular features and I thought I would take a moment to address the huge number of inquiries we have had about it.

"The Friday Entertainment Roundup Report", which runs on Fridays here on "Silly Thinking with Douglas Lain Now Union Made" (and Saturdays in other parts of the country) was cancelled late Saturday evening due to a situation which does not reflect on Douglas Lain or his team of talented associates. We have noted a general lack of interest in the Friday feature, and could not arrive at a satisfactory solution to a restructuring of the feature. This feature is a national feature that is syndicated here on this "Silly Thinking" webpage and the problem was in our national headquarters. It was an internal problem.

We apologize to the huge number of readers who have flooded our headquarters with concerns and ideas and support for the feature, and we hope you will stay with us while we go through this transformational process and find a suitable replacement for the feature.

Starting this coming Friday (October 3rd- Oct. 4th in some markets) we will run several weeks of special features on Fridays in hopes of entertaining and enlightening our treasured regular readers and new "Silly Thinking" fans. Some of the features will be favorites which will get a special Friday edition others will be brand new features which we hope you will sample. Please let us know what you think by commenting via the special commenting feature.

All of us at the "Silly Thinking" webgroup are sorry that we weren't more forthcoming about the information and apologize that you heard the news in the form of rumor and in chatroom conversations that did not represent the true information that we wanted to put forth. We are dedicated to the silliest "Silly Thinking" we can produce and can assure you that the other features you have come to love and appreciate like "CelebrityNet","I Love Dead People", and "Thursdays With Sir Douglas Lain" will continue exactly as you have always loved them.

Thank you for your time, and look for "Off The Top Of My Head" back here next Monday and this coming Thursday in it's regular spot.

Thank you for your kind support.

Sincerely,
Lawrence B. Silly
Vice-President in charge of content, Silly Thinking Webgroupzinepage.
