What I Found
While looking for a short bio/story that I wrote about a friend of mine, I came across this:
It has been believed that the beauty of a woman lies in the number of lines upon her face.
I disagree.
It lies in the smile that plays upon her lips
And the laughter that flows from her heart.
It lies in the love that shines in her eyes
And the comfort of her hugs.
It lies in the tenderness she displays
And the power that resides within.
It lies in the strength of her convictions
And the giving of her care.
It lies in the telling of her story
and the truth within her soul.
**I have no idea when I wrote this but it's one of the few things I have come across that doesn't make me cringe...
