The ferrets are: playing in the dog's water, stealing stuff out of my purse, squishing into the desk drawers (one each at each activity) Weather: hot

Reading: Manifold: Time, by Baxter

Listening to in the car: KISN

My credit union, the outfit that I have bragged about and recommended to others, is changing the rules on the variable rate personal line of credit. Instead of charging 4% over prime, they are suddenly, effective October 1, changing it to 10% over prime! I owe them about $2300, and this is appalling! They suggest that "if a personla line of credit no longer meets your needs," they'll be happy to tell us about their home equity line of credit or consolidation loans. In a pig's ear! There is no way that I am getting any new products from them at all, ever. I am also going to talk to my employer about getting out of that credit union and offereing some other one instead. I think they won't like losing the company that has the exclusive on the public school janitors -- about 2000 employees, and a high profile in the community. This makes me so mad. How can they do this??? Is it even legal?
