There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

fair mothers

Is there such a thing as a "fair mother"? I mean really. Does any teenaged girl ever say to her friends "my mom is so fair"? Liar.

From what I'm gathering around here lately, I'm up for the "Ohmygawd, you're SO unfair" award when the Worst Mother EVER awards come around. Apparently, I've been nominated quite a few times just this week. I pity the poor person who has to count those ballots...at least they've got themselves a secure full-time job for the next, oh, say 10 years.

It's not so bad though really. What they *nods towards those kids* don't know, is that what also comes with winning the "Ohmygawd, you're SO unfair" award is the "My kids grew up normal, functioning members of society" award. And that in itself is worth stumbing over all these ballots they're busying themselves with filling out.

I just wish when my mother used to say "I hope you have all girls and they end up just like you", she'd have added "and you're rich". She was right on the first part, surely her curse could have worked on the second part had she just muttered those words. *sigh*
