I had to read back a bit to figure out exactly where I was when I left. So let's see.

-I've gone way beyond 6 unread books. We're talking double digits now, at least. That's not to say I haven't been reading, I've just been adding books at a quicker rate than I've been getting through them. This is mainly due to the fact that I've been sticking to nonfiction for the most part and this is stuff that I can't get through at my normal pace. I'm a word/sentence/paragraph underlining margin writer-inner and that makes for slow reading. I've even taken to talking to the books outloud when I disagree and googling stuff to prove I'm right. (The books don't seem too phased at all when I hold them up to the glare of wikipedia, though. Yeah. I know.)

-Gore didn't run in '08 and I'm okay with that. I still think Christopher Walken would've made a kick ass running mate though. Obama-Walken '12!

(blog post interrupted by my son stumbling in drunk. It's ok, he's legal. This is just worth mentioning because it's his first time. Bonus - he's a happy drunk. Though next week he does have to detail the girl's car he puked in on the way home. Heh.)

-No such thing as too many blogs. Evidently.

-"Fuck it" still works for me but it's becoming more and more obvious that what works in my personal life doesn't equate so well to society at large. I'm thinking that a more active stance in my community may be where I'm heading. Volunteerism looks to be the route to go.

-Criss Angel is so out. I'm kind of in between imaginary boyfriends at the moment, depending on whether or not the Oilers trade Sheldon Souray. If he stays, fine. If not? Well, there's no dating within the division but I'm willing to take it to no imaginary dating within the conference if I have to. Never say I don't bleed Oiler blue.

Two blog posts, two lists. Let's see if next time I can actually put something up here that resembles more a linear thought-out piece rather than a grocery list.
