There is nothing to read here. The content is over there, to your right.

I may, however, at some point, put something here. Some day. Eventually. No pressure.

As It Is.

So I was trying to figure out how to update what's been going on since the last time I posted here. I gave up after a solid 30 seconds. Not that my life has been so extraordinary or adventurous or even remotely interesting.. life just happens, see, and for a good lot of it I'm a passive passenger.

But! Time does pass and if I'm going to blog then a basic primer may be in order. A primer in list form because hey, I still love lists.

  • I aged. Halfway between 35 and 40 now.

  • My kids aged. Son is 18, daughter 16 in 2 weeks.

  • My husband aged. Still thinks he's 12.

  • Still have two dogs, just one is new.

  • Quit smoking. Started smoking again. Quit again. Started again.

  • Still living in northern Alberta. A little ambivalent about it.

  • Still sketching/writing/wasting ink as a hobby.

  • Just joined a gym.

  • Discovered personal trainers are really sadists.

  • Am still not embracing yardwork. Dandelions are pretty imo.

  • No closer to figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

That'll do for now. Dogs played outside in the mud yesterday and while they're clean and the floors are clean, the walls are still splattered. Supper was made. A bath needs to be had. A glass of wine needs to be sipped and dreams need to be dreamt. Sounds like a day.
