A few years ago, I had a cooking journal, but I got too busy to keep it up. This was true particularly because I was doing all of my own html for the web pages: this was before the whole blog thing got popular, so there weren't sites like this one that do a lot of the work for you.

Some of the dishes from the old journal — I may try to post the recipes eventually:

• Asian basil pesto with lemon and almonds
• risotto with smoked salmon, sweet potatoes and baby bok choi
